- DESCRIPTION
(ALPHA)Update a membership configuration for the Config Managementfeature in a fleet. This command errors if the Config Management feature is notenabled on the fleet.- EXAMPLES
- To apply thefleet-defaultmembership configuration to
MEMBERSHIP_NAME, run:gcloudalphacontainerhubconfig-managementapply--membership=MEMBERSHIP_NAME--origin=FLEETTo apply a membership configuration as a YAML file, prepareapply-spec.yamlthen run:

- Update the membership configuration either to thefleet-defaultmembership configuration with
--originor to a user-providedconfiguration with--configand--version.Exactly one of these must be specified:
--origin=ORIGIN- Updates the configuration of the target membership to the currentfleet-defaultmembership configuration. Errors if fleet-default membership configurationis not enabled; see the
enablecommand for more details.ORIGINmust be (only one value is supported):FLEET. - Or at least one of these can be specified:
- Provide the entire membership configuration to update with
--configand--version. --config=CONFIG- Path to YAML file that contains the configuration to update the targetmembership to. The file accepts thefollowingfields.
This flag argument must be specified if any of the other arguments in this groupare specified.
--version=VERSION- Version of Config Management. Equivalent to the`spec.version`field in the
--configfile. Provides--configwith aversion in the absence ofspec.version. Cannot specify this flagwithout--config; cannot set both this flag andspec.version. See`spec.version`for more details.

- Membership resource - The group of arguments defining a membership. Thearguments in this group can be used to specify the attributes of this resource.(NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set inother ways.

--membershipon the command line with a fullyspecified name; - provide the argument
--projecton the command line; - set the property
core/project.
- provide the argument
--membership=MEMBERSHIP- ID of the membership or fully qualified identifier for the membership.
To set the
membershipattribute:- provide the argument
--membershipon the command line.
This flag argument must be specified if any of the other arguments in this groupare specified.
