SYNOPSIS
gcloud alpha bq datasets deleteDATASET[--remove-tables][GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG]
DESCRIPTION
(ALPHA) Delete a BigQuery dataset.
EXAMPLES
The following command deletes a dataset with IDmy-dataset
gcloudalphabqdatasetsdeletemy-dataset
POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
Dataset resource - The BigQuery dataset you want to delete. This represents aCloud resource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group butcan be set in other ways.

To set theproject attribute:

  • provide the argumentdataset on the command line with a fullyspecified name;
  • provide the argument--project on the command line;
  • set the propertycore/project.

This must be specified.

DATASET
ID of the dataset or fully qualified identifier for the dataset.

To set thedataset attribute:

  • provide the argumentdataset on the command line.
FLAGS
--remove-tables
Remove the dataset even if it contains one or more tables. Tables will beremoved before deleteing dataset.
GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands:--access-token-file,--account,--billing-project,--configuration,--flags-file,--flatten,--format,--help,--impersonate-service-account,--log-http,--project,--quiet,--trace-token,--user-output-enabled,--verbosity.
