Method: projects.locations.logScopes.patch

Updates a log scope.

Path parameters

logScope.name

string

Output only. The resource name of the log scope.

Log scopes are only available in theglobal location. For example:

projects/my-project/locations/global/logScopes/my-log-scope

Query parameters

updateMask

string (FieldMask format)

Optional. Field mask that specifies the fields inlogScope that need an update. A field will be overwritten if, and only if, it is in the update mask.name and output only fields cannot be updated.

For example:updateMask=description

This is a comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example:"user.displayName,photo".

The request body contains an instance ofLogScope.

If successful, the response body contains an instance ofLogScope.

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/logging.admin
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
