Method: projects.locations.functions.delete

Deletes a function with the given name from the specified project. If the given function is used by some trigger, the trigger will be updated to remove this function.

Required. The name of the function which should be deleted. It takes the formprojects/{project}/locations/{location}/functions/{function}.

Authorization requires the followingIAM permission on the specified resourcename:

  • cloudfunctions.functions.delete

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance ofOperation.
