Deletes an EntryGroup.

Required. The resource name of the EntryGroup:projects/{project_number}/locations/{locationId}/entryGroups/{entryGroupId}.

Authorization requires the followingIAM permission on the specified resourcename:

  • dataplex.entryGroups.delete

Optional. If the client provided etag value does not match the current etag value, the DeleteEntryGroupRequest method returns an ABORTED error response.

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance ofOperation.
