Method: projects.locations.dataScans.patch

Updates a DataScan resource.

Path parameters

Parameters
dataScan.name

string

Output only. Identifier. The relative resource name of the scan, of the form:projects/{project}/locations/{locationId}/dataScans/{datascanId}, whereproject refers to aprojectId orproject_number andlocationId refers to a Google Cloud region.

Query parameters

updateMask

string (FieldMask format)

Optional. Mask of fields to update.

This is a comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example:"user.displayName,photo".

validateOnly

boolean

Optional. Only validate the request, but do not perform mutations. The default isfalse.

Request body

The request body contains an instance ofDataScan.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance ofOperation.
