Deletes a DataScan resource.

Path parameters

Parameters

Required. The resource name of the dataScan:projects/{project}/locations/{locationId}/dataScans/{dataScanId} whereproject refers to aprojectId orproject_number andlocationId refers to a Google Cloud region.

Authorization requires the followingIAM permission on the specified resourcename:

  • dataplex.datascans.delete

Query parameters

Parameters
force

boolean

Optional. If set to true, any child resources of this data scan will also be deleted. (Otherwise, the request will only work if the data scan has no child resources.)

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance ofOperation.
