Version support policy

Amajor or minorversion of Cloud Data Fusion environment is supported for a specific period oftime after it is released. During that period, Cloud Data Fusion instancesthat use the environment version are supported. After that period, instancesthat continue to use the environment version are no longer supported. When aversion is not supported, existing instances will continue to work, but no newinstances can be created. No additional fixes will be made and, if you haveissues, Cloud Customer Care will recommend upgrading your environment to the latestversion.

Cloud Data Fusion version support is defined as follows:

  • 0-18 months after a major or minor version of Cloud Data Fusionenvironment is released: Cloud Data Fusion instances running the versionare supported.

  • Beyond 18 months after a major or minor version of Cloud Data Fusionenvironment is released: Cloud Data Fusion instances running the versionare unsupported and need to be updated to regain support.

Note: No emergency bug fixes or security fixes will be provided for unsupportedversions for Cloud Data Fusion.
