Overview
Blockchain RPC is an enterprise-grade service that allows read and write access to multiple blockchains using their standard RPC APIs with the reliability, performance, and security they expect from Google Cloud compute and network infrastructure. While self-managed nodes are often difficult to maintain and provision during peak workloads, Blockchain RPC provides a solution that scales seamlessly with your business.
Blockchain technologies are changing the way the world stores and moves itsinformation.Blockchain RPC builds on our commitment to help Web3 developers build anddeploy new products on blockchain-based platforms.
Blockchains consist of transaction data that is permanently stored andanonymized, acting as decentralized databases. Instead of relying on a centralentity to validate and store data, the governing infrastructure of a blockchainis a node: a device, such as a computer, laptop, or server, that containsa full copy of the transaction history of the blockchain. Nodes on a blockchainform a peer-to-peer network, constantly exchanging the latest blockchain data sothat all nodes stay in sync.
Ethereum is the first blockchain supported by Blockchain RPC,enabling developers to provision fully managed Ethereum nodes with secureblockchain access.
With Blockchain RPC, organizations enjoy the following benefits:
Enterprise-Grade Reliability: The service leverages Google Cloud infrastructure to provide security and reliability, helping to ensure a dependable foundation for developers' applications.
Cost-Effectiveness: Blockchain RPC offers a cost-effective alternative to self-managed dedicated nodes, offering a generous free tier with up to 100 requests / second.
Compatibility: Developers can transition from existing RPC providers by changing their existing endpoint to the Blockchain RPCendpoint.
Scalability: The service scales to handle growing request volumes, eliminating the need for manual scaling.
