TippyBlue is a seagull appearing inMediterranean Harbor atTokyo DisneySea.
Background[]
Story[]
TippyBlue metDuffy while he was taking a walk before leaving withMickey. He saw Duffy and said, "Hi, are you Duffy?" He then told him his name and that he is a postal worker. When Duffy said goodbye to Tippy, the latter asked him if he goes on adventure trips with Mickey, then told him all the bad things that could happen.
Mickey overheard the conversation, so he came over to them. In a song, he told Tippy all the good things that could happen because he didn't want Duffy to be nervous about traveling.
After Duffy said to Mickey that he wanted to send letters to him from his various destinations, Tippy volunteered to deliver Duffy's letters and to convey Mickey's feelings toMinnie through letters. After Tippy sang about the wonderful places they could go,Donald andDaisy asked Duffy if he could send them letters too.
With a big smile, Duffy said, "Yes!"
Then, they took a picture together and said goodbye, looking forward to hearing of their friends' adventures.

TippyBlue makes appearances throughout the book. He first appeared at the beginning where he is seen on top of a box whenMickey said goodbye because he's a sea captain. Then he is seen flying to get toSteamboat Willie where Mickey andDuffy where they where looking at Tippy as he filed.
Trivia[]
- TippyBlue is the only one of Duffy's friends to not appear as a full-bodied character at the Disney Parks, instead appearing as a puppet.
