Background[]

Terra is one of the longest serving Coven Heads, with an ongoing career that spans at least three decades. As the Head Witch of the Plant Coven, she is an integral part toEmperor Belos's plans for the Day of Unity and is tasked with recruiting new witches to her coven.

Personality[]

On the outside, Terra seems calm and jovial with a grandmotherly sort of charm, but on the inside, she is merciless and enjoys toying with her prey, revealing a sadistic and manipulative personality. She is also entirely loyal to Emperor Belos. She was even more outwardly ruthless and critical when she was younger, but still maintained her false friendliness and maternal charm.

Powers and abilities[]

• Magic: Like all witches, her connection to magic comes from a sac of magic bile attached to her heart. Having earned the rank of coven leader, she is undoubtedly very powerful.
  • Plant magic: As leader of the Plant Coven, Terra can cast spells that allow her to control and manipulate plant life. She can even use her plant magic abilities as a means of transportation.
  • Mind control: She can summon a special plant and use its leaves to create a tea that either brainwashes others or at least maintains an existing brainwashed state. Unbeknownst to her, Raine used bard magic (changing the chemistry of the tea via whistling) to secretly neutralize the tea to maintain their cover as a spy.
  • Plant travel: Terra can use vines or other plant matter to travel underground or through water.

Role in the Series[]

InHunting Palismen, Terra Snapdragon first appeared with the other heads of theCoven System for a meeting with Emperor Belos asKikimora tells them that the Day of Unity is upon them. Terra and the heads then saw a fake vision of the Day of unity that will unite the Human realm with the Boiling Isles. Later, she had Raine under he care after they were leading a rebellion against Belos and his Coven Syste. She would give them tea that erases their memories of ever being against Belos and remaining loyal to him. Unaware, Raine whistles into the tea to neutralized the effects before drinking it as they were still on a mission to figure out what Belos was planning for the Day of Unity.

InFollies at the Coven Day Parade, she stops Kikimora was killingLuz Noceda andAmity Blight as Belos had plans for Luz and reveals to Kikimorea that her reward was she gets to live. Terra is later present along with Kikimora, and Raine where Belos makes his grand announcement and false plans for the Day of Unity that the Titan will create a utopia free of wild magic before unmasking himself.

InAny Sport in a Storm, Terra is seen exiting with the throne room with the other Coven Heads as they had to cancel their meeting.

InThem's the Breaks, Kid, which features in a flashback leading the games of "Covens vs. Wild" where Eda and Raine were the only ones left of their team but the two choose to attack her. Though she was impressed, she decided not to give everyone a ribbon but she had Eda enrolled back in Hexside. Later, she continued giving Raine her tea for his "headaches' and witnesses them drink it to make sure they remain loyal to Belos. She then leaves but unaware, Raine secretly neutralized the tea by whistling into it and drops the act.

InO Titan, Where Art Thou, she pulls Raine away from the Crystal ball and sees Eda was wearing an outdated Coven scout suit.

Trivia[]

• The name "Terra" is Latin for "earth", a word which is present in most romantic languages, such as Italian and Portuguese. The term is derived from the name of the primordial goddess of the Earth in Roman mythology. A snapdragon is a genus of plants known as Antirrhinum.
