Super Hero HQ was a collection of meet-and-greets and interactive exhibits centered onMarvel Comics superheroes, located on the second floor of theTomorrowland Expo Center in the Carousel Theater atDisneyland, and atShanghai Disneyland asMarvel Universe.

Disneyland version[]

Individual portions of the attraction opened as early as2013 as part ofInnoventions, but Super Hero HQ was a standalone attraction when it reopened onNovember 16,2015.

Guests were able to participate in meet-n-greets with characters such as,the man in red, white, and blue,Captain America; the God of Thunder,Thor Odinson; and the friendly neighborhoodSpider-Man. Guests were also able to embody The InvincibleIron Man in The Iron Man Experience, which had guests partake in a simulator that enabled them to fly, and use gadgets like Iron Man. Finally, with the meet-n-greets and the Iron Man Experience, guests were able to purchase Marvel merchandise at their own expense.

• Thor: Treasures of Asgard (2013–2016) - a museum detailingThor Odinson and all thingsAsgardian. This area was a tie-in toThor: The Dark World.
• Captain America: The Living Legend and Symbol of Courage (2014–2015) - a museum detailingCaptain America. This area was a tie-in toCaptain America: The Winter Soldier.
• V.A.U.L.T. featuringSpider-Man (2015-2016)

Shanghai Disneyland version[]

Shanghai Disneyland features an almost identical attraction, named simplyMarvel Universe. Discover the expansive universe that houses some of the world's greatest Super Heroes. All of these brave champions occupy the stratosphere of the Marvel Cinematic Universe—and have their roots in Marvel Comics.
