Jesse Abraham Arthur McCartney is an American actor, singer-songwriter, and voice actor. ForDisney, he voicedRoxas andVentus in theKingdom Hearts video game series, andTerence in theTinker Bell films. He also appeared as himself in theDisney Channel Original SeriesThe Suite Life of Zack & Cody (episode "Rock Star in the House") andHannah Montana (episode "When You Wish You Were the Star"). McCartney was born in Ardsley, Westchester, New York and began performing in local community musicals at the age of seven, when he debuted his role inOliver!, before joining the national tour ofThe King and I at age ten along withPhil of the Future starRicky Ullman where he played the character of Louis. In1998, he sang with the group Sugar Beats and can be heard on their 1998,1999, and2000 CD releases. He also became a member of the groupDream Street with four other singers includingChris Trousdale andFrankie J. Galasso. After the group disbanded, McCartney embarked on a solo career. Some of his notable songs include "Beautiful Soul", "She's No You", "Because You Live", "Leavin'", "How Do You Sleep?", and "Body Language".
