Plot[]
WhenJake is sent to the principal's office for dancing on top of the desks inProfessor Rotwood's class, he talks to Principal Derceto about the incident.Trixie andSpud are listening through the office door. Jake says that Professor Rotwood was lying, but the cameras prove otherwise. The principal then makes Jake write a report on his role model, and Trixie and Spud suggestGrandpa.
Later, Jake has to clean up the shop. Grandpa mentions to Jake that he told him to clean the shop and giveFu Dog a bath. Jake says that the shop is so clean that you could eat off it, but there is some filth on the counter. When it is time to give Fu Dog a bath, Jake grabs the vacuum cleaner and starts vacuuming Fu Dog. But everything goes wrong, and the vacuum explodes and makes the shop even dirtier.Councilor Chang then arrives.
Since Jake didn't clean up anything, he has to stay in the shop while Lao Shi and Chang leave on business. While Jake cleans everything up, he gets mad and says that his grandpa is really uptight, but Fu Dog tells him that he used to be like Jake when he was young. Fu Dog then shows Jake a book containing everything that Fu Dog and Grandpa had lived through.
While Fu Dog tells Jake about the times he had with Grandpa, Trixie and Spud come in and listen to the story, too. It turned out that Grandpa was the way he is now because of theDark Dragon. While Jake cleans up, he thinks about it and figures out that Chang set them up, and that Lao Shi is now all alone and Chang is still trying to do the same thing 30 years later.
In the sewers, Jake sees Grandpa tied up. Lao Shi tells him hat it's a trap, and then the Dark Dragon appears and says, "A trap that appears to have worked!" Fu Dog tells him that he isn't going to faint this time, but Chang once again hits Fu Dog in the back of his head, knocking him unconscious. Chang tells them why she betrayed them and joined up with the Dark Dragon. Jake says that he knows humans and magical creatures who get along really well, and they all engage in battle. As they clash, theTooth Fairy keeps the Dark Dragon busy with herTooth Minions. While Trixie and Spud tale care of Chang, Trixie and Spud capture Chang in a net. Jake grabs Grandpa and flees, but Chang tells the Dark Dragon that they are escaping.
Outside, Jake and the Dark Dragon fight, but he dodges every blow thanks to theOracle Twins. The Dark Dragon says, "Oracle Twins. Very resourceful, but you are no match for me!" When the Dark Dragon steps on a piece of wood, Jake goes up where everyone else is. The Oracle Twins, Trixie, Spud and Jake jump off and catapult the Dark Dragon away, and he lands near the rocks. The Tooth Fairy then comes in with a bulldozer carrying large pieces of piled-up wood and smashes the Dark Dragon with them. The Dark Dragon disappears in an explosion, and the gang celebrates their victory. Meanwhile, Fu Dog awakens expecting to fight, only to discover nobody is with him and the battle is already over.
In the principal's office, the principal reads Jake's paper that he wrote about his Grandpa. The principal says, "You are really admiring your Grandpa." Jake replies, "Believe that. Starting from now, things are going to change, even between me and Professor Rotwood." Jake dances off but doesn't see Professor Rotwood and accidentally pushes him down the stairs. When he crashes at the bottom, Professor Rotwood sends Jake back to the principal's office, to which Jake replies, "Aw, man!"
