Plot[]
Mr. Gore tells his class that their science presentations are due tomorrow. He is excited, andBridget tellsVampirina andPoppy are still not ready for the presentation on dinosaurs, although they've practiced all week. Vampirina tells them they'll get it, and she enlistsDemi andGregoria to help them study. Vampirina tells them the dinosaurs that will be studied for the presentation. Poppy doesn't see a picture of a regular dinosaur, and Demi states that the only way to remember the dinosaurs is to see them in person. Vampirina thanks Demi for the suggestion, as she, Poppy, and Bridget can see the dinosaurs at the museum and get pictures of them for their presentation so they won't get the names mixed up. However, the museum is closed and the presentation is tomorrow.
So, Vampirina tellsOxana andBoris if she, Poppy, and Bridget could have a sleepover at the museum withKing Pepi for help with the science project, and they like it. Oxana and Boris will go to the scare-opera in Transylvania during that time. Demi and Gregoria decide to come along and chaperone. Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget decide to get their sleeping bags while Oxana sends King Pepi a message on the World Wide Cobweb.
At the museum, Vampirina and her friends meet King Pepi, who greets them to the Museum of Natural History. He is delighted to see them, and reveals that he prepared an entire night of fun and games. Vampirina tells King Pepi that they came to see the dinosaurs for a school project. King Pepi agrees under one condition: they play one game of mummy charades tonight, and Vampirina agrees. Vampirina and her friends are welcomed to Jurassic Hall and are delighted by the different dinosaurs they are seeing. Demi tries to recite a spell to make a dinosaur give a roar, and it does so on the fossil version instead of the toy. The fossil then wrecks the other fossils and runs throughout the museum. Demi casts a spell to make the fossil immobile again, but it misses. Everyone tries to put fences, but the fossil still goes past them.
Vampirina decides to get the fossil to hold still with food. King Pepi has some pepperoni pizza with cheese. When the dinosaur comes back, Vampirina feeds the pizza to him, but Demi still misses with the spell. Vampirina decides for backup, and that is where King Pepi comes in. He calls in his fellow mummies, and later, Vampirina and the others set up a cloth wall, with the pizza a bait to lure the dinosaur. This time, Demi's spell works, and the dinosaur is back to normal.
However, the exhibit is destroyed. Vampirina feels terrible, as she wanted to get pictures of the dinosaurs for the science project, but the museum is ruined. Poppy decides to put the dinosaurs back together, and King Pepi notices the situation. He then decides to put everyone's heads together to rebuild them, with Gregoria and Demi helping. Eventually, all of the dinosaur fossils are put back together. Later, Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget consider themselves experts of dinosaurs, and they get pictures of them. They also thank King Pepi for the help, and they play a game of mummy charades. Later in the science presentation, everyone likes Vampirina, Poppy, and Bridget's dinosaur presentation, with Mr. Gore calling it the most sensational one he's ever heard. Vampirina states that it was all due to help from some friends. Mr. Gore notices a T-Rex looking alive, and Vampirina agrees.
