Vampirina mentions they're getting ready for a band camp hosted by theScream Girls. Edgar decides to come along, although band camp is for musicians. Vampirina likes the idea, and declares Edgar an honorary Ghoul Girl. The Ghoul Girls will be with him every step of the way, and Edgar asksEdna if he can go.
The Ghoul Girls then head to band camp and Vampirina tells the Scream Girls that Edgar wants to learn what it's like being in a monster band. The Scream Girls mention that everyone will get to show off their new skills in an epic camp concert. Vampirina tells Edgar he'll eventually learn a ton and be totally ready to perform.Poltergeist Pat arrives for the camp concert, and since he's not practicing, he'll be having a frightful fiesta until showtime. Later, Edgar tells Vampirina he thought being a monster magician would be more about fun and less about practice. Vampirina tells Edgar the importance of being in a band, which is working on music on and off stage.
Edgar then meets up with Poltergeist Pat, who mentions that the Boo Boys follow his every move with a little magic. Edgar decides to join the Boo Boys, and Poltergeist Pat gives him the skill he needs. Meanwhile, the big concert is about to begin and Poltergeist Pat tells Vampirina and Bridget the secret to their success: a human in their band. Edgar then shows up with the Boo Boys, andGregoria knows he's under a copycat spell. This means Edgar will follow Poltergeist Pat's every move until the spell is broken. Vampirina and Poppy tell Edgar to try to learn to sing or play an instrument, and Demi admits that Poltergeist Pat and Edgar have moves.
Edgar apologizes to Vampirina for not being good at being an honorary Ghoul Girl when he is pulled back, as the Boo Boys are the Ghoul Girls' competition. Poltergeist Pat mentions being in a band is about fame, fans, and fun. Vampirina knows Edgar can't be controlled by Poltergeist Pat, and the Ghoul Girls help him. Later, the Boo Boys and Edgar perform, with the others cheering Edgar on, as he is performing his own moves. Everyone applauds Edgar, and Poltergeist Pat knows a human in his band isn't going to work out. The spell is broken and Edgar is caught byDemi. Edgar apologizes for trying to find an easier way to be a musician, and Vampirina tells him being in a band takes a lot of practice, but it's worth every minute.
