Winchester, better known asBanana Bread, is a minor supporting character in theDisney/Pixar animated seriesMonsters at Work.

Banana Bread is shown to be a very friendly individual and is most likely the most moral person as he outedDuncan for trying to mess withTylor Tuskmon. He also apparently has a very good sense of humor and could quite possibly have a better grasp at joke making than anyone else atMonsters, Inc.
Physical appearance[]
Banana Bread physically resembles a ripening banana peel with yellow "feet" resembling the peels and the rest of his green body, or head, resembling the other end of it. He has three purple eyes that go up his "face" and his yellow "mouth" at the top looks like the stem.
Role in the series[]
In "Welcome to Monsters, Incorporated",Tylor encounters Banana Bread placing a muffin on a desk, followed byCutter roasting a sandwich with her blowtorch,Duncan P. Anderson reading a magazine, and Roto, a purple furball monster, being slid into his glass cage to which as Tylor andVal enter, Banana Bread and Duncan stare at Tylor while Val tells a group of MIFT employees to meet Tylor who tells the coworkers whether that this would be a temporary assignment while Fritz enters and introduces himself to Tylor, explaining to him that Monsters, Inc. was sending over a new employee at MIFT. Later, Tylor approaches Banana Bread, Val, and Fritz putting up a welcome party for David only for Cutter to interrupt, telling him that they already lost him.LaterRoz's sisterRoze getsMike's attention and introduces herself to Mike, explaining that the workers at Monsters, Inc. delivered the kid's hat and ID while Banana Bread, Val, Cutter, Fritz, and Duncan approach Tylor whom they think that he was supposed to get appreciation donuts for them while Roze formally welcomes Tylor to Monsters, Incorporated.
In "Meet Mift", Tylor arrives at MIFT trying to ask his fellow employees which Tylor hears Fritz calling his attention which he surprises him welcoming him to MIFT; Fritz then tells a story to Tylor that ever since Monsters, Inc. was founded, there was a need for the unsung heroes of Monsters, Inc. getting surprised by Banana Bread, Cutter, Duncan, and Val which Tylor finds out that it's an initiation ceremony only for the ceremony to be interrupted via power outage. Later, Tylor explains that he won't be at MIFT that long which Duncan and his pet Roto listen which the two don't trust what Tylor is saying just as Fritz, Val, and Cutter plan to give Tylor another surprise while Duncan plans to surprise Tylor with some canister refurbishments while being given a manual of how to disable the canister before it causes havoc only for the canister to ricochet across MIFT while Banana Bread and Cutter react to it as Cutter says, "Time for lunch". After Tylor decides to leave for comedy class, Fritz and Val arrive at the desk where Tylor is supposed to be only for the two to feel worried which Banana Bread tells Fritz, Val, and Duncan about Tylor attending comedy class, much to their worry.
At the comedy class, Banana Bread answersMs. Flint's topic of comedy class to which as he responds to her, Celia alerts Banana Bread, Tylor, Val, Duncan, and Fritz aboutMike Wazowski who is trapped in a door during a power outage; Fritz tells Duncan to get Cutter followed by Val and Tylor being next while Banana Bread stays during class with Mrs. Flint. After rescuing Mike, Fritz offers Drooler Cooler soda cans as a celebration for the MIFT team while Banana Bread enters the MIFT facility which Flint tells the team that Winchester is needed on the Laugh Floor, which Flint discusses that she was intrigued by Banana Bread's nuanced insight on comic theory as she found out that he was acting hilariously. Soon as Winchester leaves, Fritz, Val, Cutter, and Duncan continue their celebration with a piñata party while Tylor adjusts to getting used to working for MIFT.
Trivia[]
- While MIFT seemed to have no problem understanding him, they did not know what his name was and called him Banana Bread due to his affinity for bringing the pastry into work.Ms. Flint on the other hand could understand him perfectly well to the point that she figured out his name.
- Even after learning his name, MIFT still continues to call him Banana Bread.
- He speaks through blowing raspberries.
- After he left MIFT, Tylor Tuskmon decided to become his replacement.
- Banana Bread makes the least appearances of all the existing Mifters.
