Motivation
The excellentGNU Octave containsa functionfact. It is contributed by Jordi GutiérrezHermoso, and draws on the (now defunct) site stallmanfacts.com(accessible viaarchive.org) for acollection of random ‘facts’ aboutRichard M. Stallman. Each call offact displays another (randomly chosen) fact.
R was lacking such a key piece of technology, and hence this packagewas created to fill a glaring void.

Complete and functional, no dependencies, passes tests.
