Place Autocomplete

  • This example demonstrates how to integrate an Autocomplete widget into a Google Map, allowing users to search for and select locations.

  • Upon selection, the map adjusts its view to center on the chosen location and displays an information window with details like name and address.

  • The sample code is provided in both TypeScript and JavaScript, with CSS for styling the map and Autocomplete elements.

  • The example leverages the Google Maps JavaScript API and requires an API key for functionality.

  • Developers can clone the sample code repository and run it locally using Git and Node.js.

This example shows you how to add an Autocomplete widget to a Google map.
