Places UI Kit: A ready-to-use library that provides room for customization and low-code development. Try it out, and share yourinput on your UI Kit experience.

Place Autocomplete Element

  • This code implements an autocomplete widget that allows users to search for places.

  • Upon place selection, it displays details like name, address, and location.

  • The sample is provided in both TypeScript and JavaScript, with the JavaScript compiled from the TypeScript version.

  • Users can interact with a live demo through JSFiddle or Google Cloud Shell and clone the sample code for local execution.

  • Developers are encouraged to explore the Place Overview component for displaying comprehensive place information using a pre-built UI.

This example adds an Autocomplete widget to a web page, and displays the resultsfor each selected place.
