KML Feature Details

  • This example demonstrates how to display a KML feature's description in a side panel when it's clicked on a Google Map.

  • It utilizes the Google Maps JavaScript API's KML layer functionality to load and display KML data.

  • Upon clicking a KML feature, the code retrieves its description and updates the content of a designated sidebar element.

  • The sample code is provided in both TypeScript and JavaScript, along with accompanying HTML and CSS for styling and layout.

This example includes a KML feature object. When the feature is clicked, the mapdisplays itsDescription text within a side<div>.
