- Free usage caps. To help you identify, evaluate, and test our service,each SKU provides free billable events every month, the quantity of whichdepends on the price category the SKU belongs to. This free usage resets onthe first day of each month, at midnight Pacific US time.
- Volume discounts. All Google Maps Platform Core Services SKUs haveusage-based volume discounts scaling to millions. These discounts happenautomatically and require no special action on your part. As you expand yourusage, you are automatically billed for usage that falls into each pricetier.

Pay-as-you-go
Google Maps Platform uses a pay-as-you-go pricing model, which means thateach Google Maps Core Service price is determined on a cost per billable eventfor each service you use. Google aggregates use for all projects linked to yourbilling account for the applicable month.
Pricing is associated with SKUs. A stock keeping unit (SKU) is a distinct itemfrom Google Maps Platform associated with a product, and a product can havemore than one SKU associated with it.
