ee.Number.toShort

  • Number.toShort() casts a number to a signed 16-bit integer within the range of -32768 to 32767.

  • Casting floating point numbers to short loses decimal precision.

  • Numbers outside the short range are cast to the closest range limit (max or min).

 Casts the input value to a signed 16-bit integer.
