This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
The HTTPCookierequest header contains storedHTTP cookies associated with the server (i.e., previously sent by the server with theSet-Cookie header or set in JavaScript usingDocument.cookie).
TheCookie header is optional and may be omitted if, for example, the browser's privacy settings block cookies.
