Thepadding-blockCSSshorthand property defines the logical block start and end padding of an element, which maps to physical padding properties depending on the element's writing mode, directionality, and text orientation.

Values
Thepadding-block property takes the same values as thepadding-left property.
Description
The padding values specified bypadding-block can be equivalent to thepadding-top andpadding-bottom properties or thepadding-right andpadding-left properties, depending on the values defined forwriting-mode,direction, andtext-orientation.
