WebGL2RenderingContext: vertexAttribDivisor() method

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since ⁨September 2021⁩.

Note: This feature is available inWeb Workers.

TheWebGL2RenderingContext.vertexAttribDivisor() methodof theWebGL 2 API modifies the rate atwhich generic vertex attributes advance when rendering multiple instances of primitiveswithgl.drawArraysInstanced() andgl.drawElementsInstanced().

Note:When usingWebGL 1, theANGLE_instanced_arrays extension can provide this method,too.

Syntax

vertexAttribDivisor(index, divisor)

Parameters

index

AGLuint specifying the index of the generic vertex attributes.

divisor

AGLuint specifying the number of instances that will pass betweenupdates of the generic attribute.

Return value

None (undefined).
