SpeechSynthesisVoice: voiceURI property

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since ⁨September 2018⁩.

ThevoiceURI read-only property of theSpeechSynthesisVoice interface returns the type of URI and location ofthe speech synthesis service for this voice.

Value

A string representing the URI of the voice. This is a generic URI andcan point to local or remote services, e.g., it could be a proprietary system URN or a URL to a remote service.
