MediaElementAudioSourceNode

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since ⁨July 2015⁩.

TheMediaElementAudioSourceNode interface represents an audio source consisting of an HTML<audio> or<video> element. It is anAudioNode that acts as an audio source.

AMediaElementAudioSourceNode has no inputs and exactly one output, and is created using theAudioContext.createMediaElementSource() method. The number of channels in the output equals the number of channels of the audio referenced by theHTMLMediaElement used in the creation of the node, or is 1 if theHTMLMediaElement has no audio.
