This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since October 2017.
TheHTMLTimeElement interface provides special properties (beyond the regularHTMLElement interface it also has available to it by inheritance) for manipulating<time> elements.

Inherits properties from its parent,HTMLElement.
HTMLTimeElement.dateTimeA string that reflects the
datetimeHTML attribute, containing a machine-readable form of the element's date and time value.
