HTMLTableSectionElement: ch property
Deprecated: This feature is no longer recommended. Though some browsers might still support it, it may have already been removed from the relevant web standards, may be in the process of being dropped, or may only be kept for compatibility purposes. Avoid using it, and update existing code if possible; see thecompatibility table at the bottom of this page to guide your decision. Be aware that this feature may cease to work at any time.
Thech property of theHTMLTableSectionElement interface does nothing. It reflects thechar attribute of the section element.
Note:This property was designed to participate to the ability to align table cell content on a specific character (typically the decimal point), but was never implemented by browsers.
To achieve such alignment, watch for the support of a string value with thetext-align CSS property.
