HTMLFormElement: relList property

Baseline Widely available

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since ⁨March 2023⁩.

The read-onlyrelList property of theHTMLFormElement returns a liveDOMTokenList object containing the set of link types indicating the relationship between the resource represented by the<form> element and the current document. It reflects the<form> element'srel content attribute.

Value

A liveDOMTokenList object.

Although therelList property itself is read-only in the sense that you can't replace theDOMTokenList object, you can still assign to therelList property directly, which is equivalent to assigning to itsvalue property. You can also modify theDOMTokenList object using theadd(),remove(),replace(), andtoggle() methods.

Examples

js
const form = document.querySelector("form");form.relList.forEach((relEntry) => {  console.log(relEntry);});
