This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
For historical reasons,Window objects have awindow.HTMLDocument property whose value is theDocument interface. So you can think ofHTMLDocument as an alias forDocument, and you can find documentation forHTMLDocument members under the documentation for theDocument interface.
