Event: returnValue property

TheEvent propertyreturnValue indicates whether the default action forthis event has been prevented or not.
It is set totrue bydefault, allowing the default action to occur. Setting this property tofalse prevents the default action.
Note:WhilereturnValue has been adopted into the DOMstandard, it is present primarily to support existing code. UsepreventDefault(), anddefaultPrevented instead of this historicalproperty.

The value ofreturnValue is the opposite of the value returned bydefaultPrevented.
