This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2020.
Thetimeline readonly property of theDocument interface represents the default timeline of the current document. This timeline is a special instance ofDocumentTimeline.
This timeline is unique to eachdocument and persists for the lifetime of thedocument including calls toDocument.open().
This timeline expresses the time in milliseconds sincePerformance.timeOrigin.Prior to the time origin, the timeline is inactive, and itscurrentTime isnull.
