Document.rootElement returns theElementthat is the root element of thedocument if it is an<svg> element, otherwisenull. It is deprecated in favor ofDocument.documentElement, which returns the root element for alldocuments.
Value
For SVG elements, theElement that is the root element of thedocument; otherwisenull.
If the document is a non-empty SVG document, then therootElement will beanSVGSVGElement, identical to thedocumentElement.
