CompositionEvent: initCompositionEvent() method

TheinitCompositionEvent()method of theCompositionEvent interface initializes the attributes of aCompositionEvent object instance.
Note:The correct way of creating aCompositionEvent is to usethe constructorCompositionEvent().
Syntax
initCompositionEvent(type, canBubble, cancelable, view, data, locale)Parameters
typeA string representing the type of composition event; this will beone of
compositionstart,compositionupdate, orcompositionend.canBubbleA boolean value specifying whether or not the event can bubble.
cancelableA boolean value indicating whether or not the event can be canceled.
viewThe
Windowobject from which the event was generated.dataA string representing the value of the
dataattribute.localeA string representing the value of the
localeattribute.
Return value
None (undefined).
