Hey guys! I'm using MacBook and I'm wondering if there is any cool external keyboard you'll suggest to use that works amazing with MacBook and sounds amazing when you type. I've never had any "fancy" keyboard before, so you can suggest anything you can think of. It'd be awesome if you can explain why you love specific keyboard just to know about the difference between other keyboards.

I've built my own keyboard from scratch but not everyone wants to do that. Either way I strongly recommend a split keyboard. It's more comfortable and healthier. The Ergodox is quite good. I have a Kyria.

the Kyria is a gorgeous keyboard, I've searching for a long time already to bought the Corne keyboard, but I never find a place to bought the kit at a reasonable price :(

On top of the split I also love the ortholinear keebs with the vertical stagger. Ergodox is like that as well right? How is the RGo compared to the Ergo?
Ergodox has columnar layout (columns are straight, rows are not). Ergodox is pretty expensive, but worth it for the customizability. I love keybinds and shortcuts so the Ergodox gives me insane power without having to move my hands too far.
RGo is probably on the cheaper side of ergonomic keyboards. It's basically a laptop keyboard (low profile, membrane) but it's split. No extra functionality. It even has magnets so you can easily snap together the splits to make it a normal keyboard.
I'm a fan of fully split keyboards (not the "split but still one piece" like Microsoft ergonomic keyboard) so you can freely move around the two pieces. Both RGo and Ergodox are fully split (connected with cable).
I honestly would have preferred to have the Ergodox in style of RGo. I want the full customizability, layout, and thumb clusters of Ergodox, but without the big mechanical switches and clunky form factor. I actually prefer membrane keyboards. I think laptop keyboards are really nice, except that they are not split, which is probably why I like the RGo because it fills that role.

I saw one guy who uses a split keyboard and for me it's something unusual but I really want to try this someday, maybe it's more convenient than it actually looks 😄

Logitech G915 here. But I do love to rotate between that and myLogitech Ergo K860 and believe it or not, theApple Magic keyboard (love the chiclet keys).
I was thinking about using Apple Magic keyboard, but haven't bought it yet. At least it should be well supported by MacBook 😂

Logitech MX Keys. Actually want a Nuphy Air 60, which would be fine in my home office, but using a mechanical keyboard in an open office is a bit antisocial imo. They make a lot of noise.
It's nice to see people that care about others in the office. Because sometimes I want to buy a silent mouse as a gift 😂

I'm a huge fan of the venerable IBM Model M.
I'm currently using the UnicompMini M, which is an 80% keyboard. I don't need or use the 10-key, I prefer to have the mouse closer to the keyboard.
Historical footnote: IBM spun off its keyboard to Lexmark. Lexmark spun off its keyboard to Unicomp. The Unicomp Model M keyboardis the Model M, which has been upgraded from PS/2 mini-DIN connector to USB connector.

I have a Das Keyboard standard edition with UK layout. Ideally I wanted the Ultimate edition which differs in that the keys are blank (to help stop you from looking down when touch typing), but couldn't get one in the UK at the time.
I love it, it's the best keyboard I've ever used. The action and travel is absolutely dead on, and it's rock solid. Was expensive at just over £100, but well worth it.

I'm now using aKeebio FoldKB because the kit was on sale, and I put it together on the cheap (relatively speaking as the keyboard hobby is $$$$) while I wait for myKeyboardio Model 100 to get built and shipped.
It's the first time I've used a split keyboardor an ortholinear keyboard, and I must say I like both a lot.

I use theLogitech Ergo K860 keyboard and love it.
It feels very comfortable and comes with labeled keys for Mac and Windows (Option andStart keys are included for example). Also, my Logitech M510 mouse connects with my Logitech Ergo K860 keyboard so I only need to use one USB-A wireless receiver.
Basically I'm a huge Logitech fanboy! Their products work very well with Macs.
