When do you know you should change teams

So when do you know that you should change your team? And how do you select which team you want to switch to? And how do you request a change? I have never done this before but I wanna know how. So please maybe leave your thoughts, experiences, etc in the comments section!

Before talking to the person who is officially responsible to you, most probably your team lead who will "lose" you if you change teams, you can try to make connections to people from other teams and talk about your daily work.

There are several reasons to change teams, even when everything is going well, like getting more diverse experience and learn something new, get to know different people and inspiration or get a promotion and earn more money. But changing teams (or companies) is not guaranteed to make things better.

When talking to your team lead, you might find a way to make the change a win-win situation for everyone. But you might find out that your team lead is not responsible or they have to talk to their boss or HR. Maybe you will even have to write an internal job application. I think it all depends and can be quite different in different companies.

As I said, I have never done this so I don't really know and don't really have an opinion on this right now but once I have an opinion on this, I will get back to you.

Alright, well you can always exist in multi teams and intershare experiences. You don't have to leave your current team unless you have to.
