This week I hit 8 years on Dev. March 5 is my anniversary. This year I'm preparing this post ahead of time with a list of what I've done here. I joined DEV while trying to break into tech. Since then I landed my first role finished that contract. Had some sets back but back to hunting.

- CSS Art * A series of geeky themed images created with code.
- Made the Top 7 Featured posts twice. (Links below).
- Help Moderate posts and up vote great DEV content.
- Entered many of the DEV Challenges.
- Wrote a blog post for Virtual Coffee Community announcing our 2024 Blogging Challenge.
- > 1337 likes. Followers aren't public here. What's more important is active followers, the ones that respond to your writing.
- > 47,000 Views.
November 2024 Turing a negative into a positive and adding a click bait title.
December 2023 CSS Art of the OG web designer.
DEV is one of the most welcoming Developer communities. It's a great place to meet people and learn. I lurked here for a long time till I started posting.

Start.
The hardest part for me is to start writing the first words. Then continue. Write about what your are learning or building it will help you remember it better. Doesn't matter if you're new. Someone else is new can can learn from what you are doing,
