25.5.26 ndb_select_count — Print Row Counts for NDB Tables

ndb_select_count prints the number of rows in one or moreNDB tables. With a single table, the result is equivalent to that obtained by using the MySQL statementSELECT COUNT(*) FROMtbl_name.

Usage

ndb_select_count [-cconnection_string] -ddb_nametbl_name[,tbl_name2[, ...]]

Options that can be used withndb_select_count are shown in the following table. Additional descriptions follow the table.

--defaults-group-suffix=string

Also read groups with concat(group, suffix)

Read given path from login file

--ndb-connectstring=connection_string,

-c connection_string

Set connect string for connecting to ndb_mgmd. Syntax: "[nodeid=id;][host=]hostname[:port]". Overrides entries in NDB_CONNECTSTRING and my.cnf

--ndb-mgmd-host=connection_string,

-c connection_string

Same as --ndb-connectstring

--ndb-nodeid=#

Set node ID for this node, overriding any ID set by --ndb-connectstring

(Supported in all NDB releases based on MySQL 8.0)

--ndb-optimized-node-selection

Enable optimizations for selection of nodes for transactions. Enabled by default; use --skip-ndb-optimized-node-selection to disable

Do not read default options from any option file other than login file

--parallelism=#,

Degree of parallelism

You can obtain row counts from multiple tables in the same database by listing the table names separated by spaces when invoking this command, as shown underSample Output.
