All sports, whether competitive or recreational, teach valuable life lessons and allow each student to develop and use his or her God-given abilities in unique ways.  Being the best at anything, whether it be academics or athletics is a worthy and admirable goal of any Christian, but DOING the very best we can, even if we do not become the very best on the team, is what God expects of us.  Therefore, we encourage all of our athletes to strive to be the best they can be and to work together as a team.
