A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

In this game, you will experience the horrors of a sporestorm, a new weather phenomenon that is becoming too common in the whole country of Spain. Heavy clouds that contain Mycopsychosys spores are approaching your area. If you want to survive, you have to stay inside your home and closely follow the PCD (plague control department) issued rules.
Meet our small but charismatic cast of characters, engage and take care of them.
To enhance the experience and to help the player survive, a web page has been created by the PCD containing crucial information about the spores, the infection and about those who fall ill from it:
In case you don't have an active internet connection, we've also included the information inside the "Survivor manual" folder.

This game was originally created for the Spooktober 2023 but with all the love from the community it evolved to something more. Something unique. Not only a story but a whole universe you can explore.
There are currently two versions of the game available:
FIRST VERSION [FREE]
If you want to see how it all started, this is the perfect version for you.
REMASTERED VERSION [PAID]
This is the recommended version if you want the full experience and would like to support the project. If you enjoyed the original or want to dive deeper into the world, this one’s for you.

Estamos trabajando en la segunda parte Mycopsychosys: Project Jupiter.. quizás allí hayan algunas respuestas de la trama de Silvia... ദ്ദി ◉w◉)✧
Hi! Is there a way to stream it without the worry of the part where it says your full name? I was watching a playthrough and i really want to get it to play on stream but that worries me a bit. should i work around just being careful for that part and switching my stream screen for that interaction?
Hi! We are currently working onMycopsychosys: Project Jupiter where you follow the steps of Hugo on the Plague Control Department!
If you like to theorise we also have our beautiful community onDiscord/ᐠ > ˕ <マ ₊˚⊹♡
The added animations made the characters more life-like (and terrifying when infected and threatening your life).
Onna has adorable expressions and ooooohh, the multiple-choice, alternate appearances for her, her window animations, and the phone call were all so horrifyingly beautiful.
I love that Hugo actually reacts to Infected forcing entry/you letting them in now. I also enjoy that he has added new dialogue while inside the house (ironically in the original game, you spoke with him more when you didn't let him in) and that he has some secret lore involving government agents?
Noah has a cool design and I'm charmed by their delinquent personality! Sadly, they have Hugo 1.0 syndrome where not letting them into the house (immediately) actually lets you learn more about them. I wish they spoke more with you or Hugo. Like they do talk to Hugo once when you let them in, again when you offer soda at the end, and of course during the actual ending.
I did understand that the only reason they explain themselves is because they will die if they can't persuade you. So they don't have to be talkative once you've let them in. You can't get Noah or Hugo's endings without interrogating them outside which, though uncomfortable, actually lets you connect with them more than just letting them in immediately. Haha, I suppose I'm just greedy for more interactions/learn more about everyone's pasts.
It was really heartwarming that Hugo is protective of Noah if an Infected enters the house though. Oh, if only I could be a guardian angel watching over the two of them long after they've left my game screen and walked home together.
I'm glad there's an actual good ending you can get now and the situation isn't completely bleak and hopeless. You can even "pick" who you want to spend your ending with!

First of all we are so glad you enjoyed our game! As for the french translation we would really like to have the game as many languages possible, but for now we don't have enough budget to allow us to translate the game. We will still keep it in mind for the future!
Thank you so much again🍄

also welcome to my shop of indie horrors!https://itch.io/c/5753193/teas-shop-of-free-indie-horrors
Ran through the game and i loved it!! I managed to get the first three endings easily but had to search on how to get the last two. I love how you incorporated the website. Even though it wasnt necessarily vital and you could trial and error the game, it was a great way to get one of the ideal endings first try! Thanks for this game.
pretty good, especially for a jam game! The art was especially charming, and horrifying. I will say though, I wish that it had gotten more into the infection aspect and been more consistent with its own rules.
[Spoilers]
When the player gets infected, they seem to go from stage 1 to stage 3 immediately, and the only symptom they ever seem to have is dizziness. Was expecting the game to play up the hallucinations and paranoia with things like fake phone calls and visitors. You also only get infected by 1. messing up Onna's answers (this was really clever, and I would love to see more games do this), 2. not letting Hugo in so he breaks in, or 3. letting Ray in. I was just sure that letting Hugo in after you give him the towel would have meant he was infected, which means you are infected, which means you get to slowly go mad as the symptoms take hold. I would also expect him to exhibit some of the symptoms besides stage 3. And, as mentioned by another comment, since the spore storm event lasted the whole night and it was nearly morning by the time you let Hugo in if you've given him the towel, it really does seem strange that he's not infected. If any of this was intended to be explained by hallucinations, having the player character dialog indicate "severe paranoia" and an inexplicable desire to socialize would go a long way. The options filling up with "somewhere high" after you're already stage 3 was a good demonstration of it, but it was too little too late, imo.
I also would have liked to see more ARG elements in the website, rather than just an external version of the manual in the game files. But I understand that this was on a strict time budget since it was made for a jam--with what you had to work with, it really is nice, and I look forward to your future projects where you have the opportunity to expand on such mechanics. Keep up the good work!
Hi! First of all, we want to apologize for the late reply. We have been very busy with the event and the new project. We wanted to give you a proper answer.
To start, thank you so much for playing our game ♡. We greatly appreciate the criticism of the players so that we can improve and make better games in the future.
As you mention, we had a limited time to make the game. We would have liked to add situations that would show more how the stages of infection work in our protagonists or, perhaps, clarify a little more how exactly it worked.
For our next game (Prequel to Mycopsychosys) we want to explain very well how the infection works and visually show what the stages are like. We are taking into account all the players' doubts to be able to give them an answer.
We hope you are encouraged to try our next game when it is released and, if you want to join us in this process, I invite you to join ourDiscord!
Thank you very much again! ♡
I would absolutely love to see a remaster of this game that expands on it and makes it into a more full experience. Almost how Sacrifices Must be Made was an incredible game that got made into Inscryption. Both were great, but how Inscryption expanded on it made it even better. I wouldn't expect multiple nights or anything, but more things to do, maybe a way to actually get your neighbour safely to your house and how her being there might change things. Hallucinations that may or may not indicate an infection. There's lots of places to go.
