Netflix is moving from quarterbacks to wide receivers and tight ends in its latest NFL docuseries.

The streamer has orderedReceiver from the team behindQuarterback – NFL Films, Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions and Patrick Mahomes’ 2PM Productions.

The series follows stars such as Las Vegas Raider Davante Adams, Minnesota Viking Justin Jefferson, San Francisco 49ers George Kittle and Deebo Samuel and Detroit Lion Amon-ra St. Brown.

It comes after Netflix last year launchedQuarterback starring Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, then of the Vikings, and Marcus Mariota, then of the Atlanta Falcons. Manning said Netflix hadrenewed Quarterback for a second season, but admitted that finding subjects was also tricky, hence the pivot to receivers.

“The natural progression is from a pass to a catch, so we’re excited to dive into theReceiver world after the success of our Quarterback series,” said Gabe Spitzer, VP, Nonfiction Sports, Netflix. “NFL Films and Omaha Productions have delivered again in finding unique and dynamic athletes who will further highlight the drama of this sport on and off the field.”
