For those who want to talk after theyscream,MTV has announced an aftershow for its sophomore adaptation of the horror film franchise. Scream After Dark! will premiere on the cable net Monday at midnight ET/9 PM PT after the Season 2 bow ofScream.
Scream After Dark! will be hosted by actor and author Jeffery Self, who will sit down with cast members, screen behind-the-scenes footage and discuss all thingsScream. Self has guested on such series as30 Rock, Desperate Housewivesand 90210 and co-starred on Logo’s Jeffery & Cole Casserole.He also hosts the podcast This Is Really Importantand has written novels including the recently published YA titleDrag Teen.He is repped by ICM Partners and Avalon Management.
Aftershows have become a regular on TV since AMC launchedThe Walking Dead postmortem Talking Dead in 2011. Programs followed by the companion series have included HBO’s Game of Thrones, BBC America’sOrphan Black, FX’sSons of Anarchy and Discovery’s Shark Week.
