EXCLUSIVE:Warner Bros hosts itsComic-Con panel tomorrow morning whereBatman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice is expected to be front and center, but here’s a morsel to nibble on today. I’m hearing that after he absolutely crushed the script on that film, Oscar-winningArgo scribeChris Terrio is being courted by the studio to come aboard and script itsJustice Leaguemovie. That superhero mash-up will beDC Comics‘ answer to Marvel’sAvengers juggernaut. Not that well known prior toArgo, Terrio has fast become an A-list scribe, and a favorite of writer-directors. He’s gotBunker Hill with Ben Affleck, and The Foreigner, among several big pics. Terrio’s repped by WME.

I got no ape in this raid, but there are clearly a lot of jealous motherfuckers afoot. You assholes should celebrate when good people do well. God knows there’s enough dogshit in this business who reap cash and accolades undeservedly (surely to include many of you D-List lot poaching Deadline).

Any truth to the rumor that the leaked Batman v. Superman script is a fake, possibly even written by Kevin Smith, then deliberately leaked to throw fanboys and other scoop hunters off the trail? I have the script, and while some scenes are decent, there’s a lot of shit in there that feels like undercooked fan fiction. Anyone know?

Yeah. I’d expect him to write a great script. Here’s to the future.

Will Marvel hire any Minority Writers?
- Harry Warner from 1947
I’ve been gone for a while so I’m slightly confused here. Please explain the following.
Why the hell would we hire a writer who crushes scripts? Who the hell wants to read a crushed script? Or a crumpled script? I want scripts that are easy to read.
And why the hell is Batman suing Superman? Batman v. Superman is a lawsuit! They are supposed to be good pals best buddies now they’re going to court?

Batman has always been jealous of Superman. Batman knows he does not have the super power needed to hurt Superman in a physical way. Batman has no alternative but to take Superman to court and try to convince a jury to find Superman guilty of being a super jerk.
Batman has lots of money Bruce Wayne is a multi-millionaire. Superman does not have enough money to hire a good lawyer. Clark Kent is a low paid reporter for a newspaper. Clark is not even a blogger he’s old fashioned and because he’s honest he would never use his super powers to steal money it would be wrong and unethical.
Therefore the only way Batman can hurt Superman is by taking him to court. Hope this helps.
