• The title of the episode is the translation ofRené Descartes's quote,Cogito, ergo sum which is the Latin for "I think, therefore I am".
• Inan alternate reality ofa local Multiverse, which was created as a consequence ofBarry Allen nevercreating theFlashpoint,^[2] the alternate Team Flash manages to quickly defeat DeVoe'salternate counterpart with the help ofH.R. Wells who is still alive due to Savitar never coming to exist in this universe.^[3]
  • Curiously, in this episode, Barry is suspended for two weeks which is similar to the alternate Barry being suspended and almost fired on his Earth albeit much earlier.^[2][4][5]
• Wally West mentions fighting a "giant starfish from outer space". This is obviously a reference to the alien supervillain,Starro.
• Barry mentionsSpider-Man'sSpider Sense ability.
