Major Victory isWilliam Vickers, a patriotic superhero with a suit that gives him special powers. His career began as the leader ofForce of July, a group sponsored by racist government officials. He has also been a member of theCaptains of Industry, theShadow Fighters, and theSuicide Squad. Eventually he died in battle againstEclipso. His successorMajor Victory II was captured by theHollow Men.Major Victory III is the leader ofFreedom's Ring, a group within the organizationS.H.A.D.E..Major Force rips off his arm and beats him to death with it. He is replaced byMajor Victory IV.
