Scenario[]
Researcher Soi appears as anNPC of many missions in Mission tab. After completing her missions, players can choose the rewards.
InZombie Scenario, she requests from the players the clues from eachScenario map and givesDr. A's Trunks as a reward. She is also the main guiding NPC in all chapters ofZombie Scenario: Season 2 (including extra map -Poisoning) andSeason 5 (sinceMemories).
InZombie File, the players will take role of her to discover the secrets behind Zombie Scenario.

- Soi is a senior researcher inAegis Institute about the zombie virus outbreak.
- Her full name is Ahn Soi
- She is the second NPC to become a playable character afterHenry Stoner.
- Also, she's the first character to be playable before her model was officially released. Before her character was sold in the shop, she was only playable inZombie File as the default character to discover the secrets.
- Some voices used for her in Zombie File are taken from a Japanese girl inCounter-Strike: Condition Zero Deleted Scenes. However, new voice clips for this character were added, most likely voiced by a Korean voice actress.
- According to the game files, Researcher Soi usesdoctora entity which refers to Dr. A or Dr. Aegis.
- In Taiwan/Hong Kong version, she is named asMariko (麻里子).
- Unlike other NPCs, that only has 1 message picture shown inZombie Scenario, she has many message pictures, each depends on her emotion.
