Following a Public Hearing in Trois-Rivières, Quebec on 5 July 1988, the Commission approves the applications for broadcasting licences for the following broadcasting transmitting undertakings to rebroadcast the programs of CICA-TV Toronto.

The Commission notes that the applicant proposes to operate these undertakings with the above-noted technical parameters rather than those set out in the CRTC Notice of Public Hearing 1988-37 dated 6 May 1988.
The Commission will issue licences expiring 31 August 1992, subject to the conditions specified in this decision and in the licences to be issued. This term will enable the Commission to consider renewal of these licences at the same time as that of CICA-TV Toronto.
It is a condition of each licence that the authority granted herein be implemented within twelve months of the date of this decision or, where the applicant applies to the Commission and satisfies the Commission that it cannot implement its authority before the expiry of this twelve-month period and that an extension of this period is in the public interest, within such further period of time as is approved in writing by the Commission.
With respect to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation intervention concerning the proposed rebroadcaster at Wabigoon Lake, TVOntario has confirmed that it will use channel 21 at this location which should not cause any interference with CBWFT-9 Dryden.
