It is an unincorporated territory of theUnited States, currently administered by the United States Air Force under an agreement with the U.S. Department of the Interior.Wake Atoll, as well as► Baker Island,► Howland Island,► Jarvis Island,► Johnston Atoll,► Kingman Reef,► Midway Atoll, and► Palmyra Atoll, lies in the Pacific Ocean, south of Hawaii.
